Submission Guidelines :
Poetry : 1 to 4 poems in the body of the email.
Prose : upto 6500 words or 2 prose pieces in the body of the email/ alternatively you can send flash fiction and short short fiction as well
Art/Photography : 1-7 hi res prints of your own original work
Hybrid Media : send us a proposal/query of what you intend to make and if our visual editor is surrounded by enough happy dogs he will agree to it!
In the subject line, write –
“Genre – Your name – Number of pieces submitted”.
For example : “Poetry – Vincent Philip – 2 Poems”
We consider poems no more than 90 lines long, hybrid work of no more than 1,500 words, and prose no more than 6,500 words. We don’t accept erotica or genre fiction at this point in time but you can query us for speculative fiction.
We also welcome book reviews, essays about the cultural milieu and interview pitches but please query us first with a neatly summarised proposal.
We do accept simultaneous submissions. However, kindly drop us a message if your work is accepted elsewhere. We seek previously unpublished (including online) work only. You maintain all rights to your work; we ask only the right to keep your work on our website indefinitely and perhaps, eventually, the right to publish a broadside or anthology.
